CNA License Alert!!! CNA Being Phased Out
Effective April 2026, CNA-Only license will be phased out. All new CNA students must take the GNA/State board exam to be certified as CNA-1 (GNA) no more CNA without GNA. However, all current CNA licenses without GNA will remain active as CNA-2 as long as they are renewed every two years. CNA-2 can take the board exam to obtain CNA-1 within 1 year of CNA training completion.
